Magnification Team
“One more for Jesus” is at the heart of Christ’s Bible Church. There is no better way that we can think of to honor and worship the Lord than to bring another person along to worship. Our whole church shares the responsibility to live our lives devoted to “one more for Jesus!” At CBC, every member is on the Magnification Team.
Building Bridges Strategy
Motivated by “one more for Jesus” our Mission Team develops ways to impact the surrounding community. The Membership Team works with the Mission Team to build bridges from the community to the church. The ultimate goal is to establish commitments to Christ and the local church.
Assimilation Strategy
From the initial commitment, our Membership and Maturity Teams work to move the individual into deeper communion with Christ and other CBC family members. CBC assimilation is enabled by the extensive use of small groups both in homes and at the church building. At CBC, we endeavor to balance “grace and truth” by balancing studies in the Word with relationship building.
Volunteering Strategy
After a person has been assimilated into the family and has spent some time maturing in the Word and relationships, the Maturity and Ministry Teams endeavor to move our family members toward volunteerism. At CBC, fulfillment in life is found by living out God’s uniquely designed life plan.
Mentoring Strategy
Once people have committed themselves to Christ and the local church, have matured in their knowledge of God’s Word and in relationships with His family, and are living out His purpose in their lives, they can then move to the next level. The Ministry and Mission Teams strive to help the individual enhance their leadership skills. Leadership is defined as influence. So at CBC, each of us are leaders for we all exercise influence over other people whether it be family, friends or acquaintances. Mentoring seeks to help the individual move in self-motivation to influence “one more for Jesus.”
